You Me Bum Bum Train creates a series of alternate realities for individuals to gain a range of experiences that would not normally be possible in one lifetime. The concept was born in 2004 when creators Morgan Lloyd and Kate Bond wondered what adventures and life experiences we miss out on before we cease to exist. They decided to create something completely new that allowed people to transcend their everyday lives and go on a journey where anything was possible. In this unique concept individual audience members or 'passengers' are given the chance to see what realities they may have faced had they been born under different circumstances.

With the realisation that many people's lives are spent in jobs that have little meaning to them, Bond and Lloyd went on a mission to create You Me Bum Bum Train; a microcosm of a free society where the people involved in the production are there because they want to be. For those who create the show, it's a work of passion, which makes the experience more meaningful for those who see it. Audience members are often moved by the range of spontaneous and memorable encounters that unlock their imagination and allows them to discover new sides to their personalities. Often described more like therapy or live art than theatre, this upcoming production like every other is going to be one big surprise.

Tickets are increasingly difficult to get hold of. In 2011, 80,000 people tried to buy tickets in less than a minute. Join You Me Bum Bum Train's mailing list at www.bumbumtrain.com for insider tips on how to be successful when buying tickets. People on the mailing list will also be entered into a lottery to win free tickets to the show.

Tickets will go on sale at 6.30pm on Sunday 21st June. As a ticket holder, the less you know about the show the better, prior knowledge of the scenes spoils the impact of the show for future passengers. Tickets are limited and in the giving spirit of You Me Bum Bum Train we recommend to anyone who has experienced the show before to give their ticket to someone else.
